Tot School: Red Week

Leo will be 20 months old by the end of this month. He’s beginning to need a more structured morning, so we’ve began “Tot School” to help his speech development and motor skills (and to keep help him occupied)!

We introduced Leo to the colour red this week.

Some of Leo’s favourite activities were running through red streamers I taped across the hallway, using a red Bingo dot marker, going down the red slide, walking by fire station across the street, setting the table, and watching videos of fire trucks and red parrots.

We also read red books: Clifford the Red Dog, Goodnight Moon, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, The Story of Ferdinand, and more.

By the end of the first day, Leo could already say, “Reh” (“red”). Pretty cool, eh? You can hear him say some words he knows on a video on Mark’s Facebook page.

P.S. Leo does wear clothes 😉
