Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We had a three day weekend to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving…three times!
The first Thanksgiving meal was quickly devoured by our youth group on Saturday evening. Mark taught Bible study for the first time that night, reviewing the Tower of Babel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and ending on Moses where is how far the students had gone in the chronological teaching last year.
We ate our second Thanksgiving meal with Mark’s family. His grandparents, aunt, and cousins came up from Grimsby on Sunday afternoon. We had so much hanging out with everyone and being entertained by the nephews and niece (this includes leaves being crushed and added to the spinach dip, lol). Check out the awesome turning of the leaves in the background!
Our third and final Thanksgiving meal was celebrated on Thanksgiving Day with several families who were still on campus. It was really warm out, and felt like it was a nice summer day. The couple from Australia was our host, which is ironic because it was their first time ever to celebrate a Thanksgiving meal. We are so blessed and thankful to be living near such an amazing group of classmates, neighbors, and friends.
We hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
